In August 2019, the N. Houston Development Corp.(formerly Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority) opened Rockstar Energy Bike Park. The park sits just a few hundred feet south of the North Houston Skate Park and is one of the country’s largest and most unique BMX parks in the greater Houston area.  NHDC is a Tax Increment Zone, Number 11 with the City of Houston.

Over 150,000 sq. ft. of space that includes a world class BMX racetrack, concrete bowls, dirt jumps, pump tracks for all ages, a flatland freestyle area, and an amphitheater that sits in the middle of the park.

Admission is FREE and HELMETS are required.

The Rock Star Energy Bike Park is one of the largest bike parks in North America.   The park features a massive concrete bowl section, a premium dirt jump section, two concrete pump tracks for all levels, street section, a flatland circle, and a variety of kid sections & elements.

NORTH HOUSTON

SKATEPARK

The North Houston Skate Park is one of the largest skate parks in North America and the second largest in the world. The 78,000 SF competition-scale skate park is located in North Houston near Spring. The skate park features a Texas-shaped bowl with a 20-foot full pipe, a 12’ foot vertical ramp, a 10-foot-deep bowl, and a “snake run” pathway.

DYLAN PARK

Located adjacent to the skate park is Dylan’s park, which was designed specifically to meet the needs of children who are sight and hearing impaired, autistic, or wheelchair bound. The park also includes walking trails and community center and features beautiful landscaping, public art, and walkways. The park was created in memory of Dylan Newman, a child abuse victim who passed away in 2009.
